Farming Today 1-866-668-5565 • www.farmingtodaymagazine.com February Spring Ag Special 2020 6 “Well” just when you think you can take a breather; I’m looking at the calendar for my Kelly Korner stories for the 2020 schedule and ‘wow” February is a busy one. When days turn into months, months turn into years that my friend is no understatement. That statement was probably said when he was scheduling events for the year. So, look we been through Thanksgiving, then through Christmas, New Years, now February which is just as hectic. Now we will have the super bowel and ground hog day, for me my second child birthday, Valentine’s Day, President Day which I’m always forgetting that one, I don’t remember until I’m needing money for lunch or for those $2.00 pizza stops. As I’m setting here on the 1 st day of the new year new decade I’m not sure if there is a new me. I’ve realized that it’s took me 55 years to really look and see what a whole month is going to add up to. Granit, I know all these things happen. I have watched the super bowel at least 39 times seeing I’ve been married that long, and my husband loves him some football”. Do I watch”; only when he’s yelling at the T.V. for he’s believes the officials called it all wrong? “Oh” did I mentions it’s always against his team. Then Ground Hog Day”, which I must say I do watch as they pull Phil from his hole so we can know when we can aspect spring, I don’t know if this is all true seems we still have 6/8 weeks of cold weather, “but I still watch. Now this year is a milestone for my second born son the big “16” birthday, he will be able to drive not just to school events, he can stay out later- this is a “BIG” not only for him but for us too. Then we are back to Valentine’s Day we don’t make it such a big deal as we done days gone by, my husband and I still get each other a little something we are showing our son no matter how long you are together you still show your thinking about them. And I’ve already said what I believe that President Day is to me, “I” call it bank and post office day. As I was saying just “wow” well I hope each and everyone of you have a Happy February, be safe, be well, and gets some much-needed rest. Until next time!
